Goodbye Iraq

After dusting off my chrystal ball and studying coffee grounds, I now believe that the war in Iraq is considered lost even by this administration. It might have been lost from the time U.S. soldiers (allowed) watched mass lootings from the relative safety of their tanks. We should see substantial troop withdrawals before the gubernatorial november elections, or at least an announcement. Could be the reason behind Israels war on Hezbollah and incursion into Lebanon.

You will not see troop withdrawals. They have put themselves into an impossible position: the place is a bloodbath with us, and a genocidal bloodbath without us. Until some arrangement is made to partition the country under UN supervision, we have nothing but more blood and murder to look forward to. I am glad you now see the war as a massive mistake. It has been a senseless, useless exercise in futility, where nothing more would have been lost or gained strategically if we has simply just whacked Saddam and been done with it. Instead, Napolean Bush and his Keystone Kops stooges created the greatest fiasco in American history. This is a disaster it will take us decades to recover from. Fucking Republican bastards have turned us into a nation of frigging Nazis.

Look at the insanity. In this article, Rice states that:

"Making reference to Security Council resolution 1559, which called for full Lebanese control over the country, Rice said that no foreign forces should be in the country and that the Lebanese army should disarm armed groups with the help of the international stabilization force."

Soon, she will make a "surprise visit" to Iraq, to say exactly the opposite about us in Iraq, while her fucking boss Bush will tell his Jesus Nazi supporters how bad the UN is, while she begs them to bail us out in Lebanon. We are being led by people who have gone insane with hypocrisy.

In addition, Crazy Condi says this will all be wrapped up "in a week". She is fucking nuts.

I have seen the invasion of Iraq with or without an international mandate as a mistake. But once troops were over there, I was hoping for some positive result. I still would hate to see thousands of American, and ten thousands of Iraqi lives lost in an exerxcise of futility. If the war had to happen, the wrong Country was invaded. Iraq was not the greatest danger in the region, but now the Country and the wars consequences might be. The outcome that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld had envisioned, a quick in and then out in 2003, and Saddam replaced with a goverment slightly related to the demo in democracy, did not come about. They did not involve any of the ME experts of the intelligence community or the military in the planning, got a bunch af gung ho politicians and military brown nosers who agred with their dilettante assessment and off they went. Even the Mullahs of Iran were pragmatic enough to only get rid of a few top people, change the name, but otherwise keep the secret police in place. Intead of somehow utilizing them, the administration sent 300,000 Iraqi soldiers home - with their guns. What we have now is constant attacks on U.S. soldiers, and a massive civil war across sectarian lines. Iraq has become the largest terrorist training ground on the planet, courtesy of the U.S. tax payer to the tune of over 300 billion dollar. The images of Muslim suppression can be seen on TV all over the World and could be al Qaeda's greatest recruitment tool ever. This is all so sad, what a mess.

Why do you think George SR never went into IRaq full scale... NO EXIT PLAN.
My brother spent a year in Iraq, he has 14 years of Navy Service, is a grad of the USNA and flys jets. He stated that they day they say go back is the day he gets out of the Navy giving up any chance to retire.
What does that tell you about how everyone thinks about being there

How about no plan, period. Anyhow, schizophrenics are never lonely. Lily Tomlin has this great line,: "I tried reality, but I found it too confining". Cheerio.

Iraq is a case study in the "tolerance" that muslims have for their own people.

Those who suggest that palestinians have a "right of return" to Israel should try to imagine what would happen to their Jewish neighbors if Muslims treat them as "well" as the Shia and Sunnis treat each other.

Ha!
