That is no small thing. The rockets are being used as a tool to thin Israeli troops out by providing multiple elusive targets. Eventually, Israel is going to have to set up camp near their strike area last night to cut off supply routes, while they continue to seek out launch sites and fight their ground offensive. Without the rockets, all of their air support could be used to bolster the ground offensive along a single front, and Hezbollah would have no choice but to slink off silently into the shadows. The puppet-masters seem to want a prolonged battle, and the rockets provide an avenue to that end.
Edit: the rockets also greatly enlarge the area Israel needs to secure in order to eliminate the Hezbollah threat.
