GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE.

Those tiny little bullets that travel really fast? Those kill people. Outlaw bullets.

Guns in an urban setting are good for killing and not much else. If you're gonna wave a gun around, then you'd better be ready and willing to use it...and justify its use in a court of law. In the absence of a imminent life-threatening danger, what good is a gun, other than to escalate a situation?

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard some doofus mouthing off about how they'd pop-a-cap in a person they caught messing with their car or some other "property" crime. I'm sorry, but that's an insane, yet all too prevalent attitude. Until that kind of general ignorance is thoroughly wiped out, I can't get on board the 2nd amendment freakshowboat.
Rest assure! I was a Fed then, licensed to carry and use if necessary. No, I didn't wave my gun around, they just saw my gun and my badge. However, my hand was on the handle just in case one of those punks was armed. But the gun never left it's place. Now, if your wife, girlfriend, or daughter was in that situation, would you want me to ignore it and went on my way or stop to help??

Gun control people pay attention:

Gun control laws only affect legal registered owners.

Criminals don't go through the system when they buy their firearms.

So... You're making guns harder to get for legal ownership and not addressing
the illegal ownership at all.

The first action of a dictator run country?
Make gun ownership illegal for its citizens.

As a German, I was not aware that Canada and Germany are dictatorships.

There are no things, that are owned by a person and can be replaced, that are worth the taking of a life. Any "thing" can be replaced or done without.

When looking at the converse, that becomes different, do you invade a sovereign nation, killing hundreds of civilians, endangering many, many more to save three? I don’t think that is a logical answer all the time. The “no man left behind” rule that our US Military touts is NOT always used and has not ever been. You do not risk known death of 20 to attempt to save one when you have options that can/must be played later. If you have a mission to point X, you cannot tangent to save one person and abandon X if X is your mission.

As hard as it is to watch, you cannot go into a rice paddy and pick up an airman when the paddy is completely surrounded and you going in shows the position of 10 others.

A fact the left can not come to terms with...

Nor the fact that they don't have the unrestricted right to blab their mouths without repercussions...

They want to take away the second amendment rights of everyone in the USA..not grasping the concept that their rights to blab at all will be the next to go.
