Or you can baby-whine on a (free) competitor's website about the poopie diaper they make you wear. Oh wait, they don't make you visit their website. And they don't charge you for it. If you don't like it, change your own poopie diaper.

Has it ever occured to you that the Internet is public property? The MB site isn't "private property", it's using public property to sell it's crummy shit.

I'm a bit baffled by your continued acceptance of any rule or moderation approach by a specific website, whether the rule is justified by past behavior of it's participants or whether it's a instantaneous response due to the personal bias of the moderator.

Personally, as a moderator of said site, I see both sides of the equation. It's a rather interesting dynamic, no different than some of the discussions that we have concerning the policies of this administration.

I could also state.........if you don't like the policies of the United States, you can simply depart........or start your own country. However, you don't adopt this approach to any other topic where controversy exists.........just the rules of a specific website.

Personally, it's perfectly clear that anybody can leave a website and visit another website that has rules more acceptable to them. In fact, you're the master of the obvious by stating such.

Even you must be able to recognize the triviality of that argument, Darryl.

If your argument were accepted then we could all broadcast on CBS for free, for example. The public owns the airwaves, right?

um, nobody is arguing that they can't set their own rules. But in this case, the rule itself is so confoundingly absurd, it has to be challenged on its merits, or lack thereof. That's the point. I mean, replace the word Merkin with poopystinkypants, and the absurdity is self-evident. It's inherently irrational; is that not clear?
