You may not find Olympic skiers hot, or other outdoor types, but Alaska has generated a disproportionate number of rugged and successful pioneers compared to its total population. And as for that pale white comment, well, winter is long, cold and without much sun so instead of being out getting a tan, most Alaskan men are inside getting experience and honing their indoor athletic and other physical entertainment skills. In the summer the sun is out nearly all day and night, so it is not a given that all the men will be pale and white. Unless, like me, they are part Irish and sun makes their outer skin turn bright red and then jump off their bodies to reveal a new, pasty, white layer. Not being an expert on what "hot guys" might be though, I could be wrong about what you consider "hot." Kind of like one of Lil' Abner's girls with a "pecularity" in their taste for men.
When I lived in Alaska there were plenty of gold digging sweeties there, as pipeline workers were flush with money and living an unbalanced life style. Before aids and other social diseases that can't be cured became common. In those days the Eskimo babes were not hot. The saying went, "I don't know but I been told, Eskimo pussy is mighty cold.'
Like Nutz says Alaska is not some isolated social desert. You might take a trip there sometime if you enjoy the outdoors. August is probably the best time of year. Try taking the Alaska Marine Highway System's itinerary from Seattle or Prince Rupert to to Haines and then drive around to Valdez and continue on the AMHS to Whittier, then drive to Denali State Park, and return. You will likely meet a few hot, independent, men. And you will be startled by some of the most beautiful natural wonders on the planet. Should take about three weeks. If you camp it is not prohibitively expensive. Here's a link:http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/serv...tes/index.html
