The whole world has defined this war as illegal, with the exception of the wacko-right wankers in the US. The US signed the UN Charter, a legal treaty, where it agreed not to wage war pre-emptively, like Hitler did. Bush should be thrown in a cell with Serbian butchers and African child killers.
You don't know what I think.
'defined' - odd, they don't like it, but I don't see the ICC or the War Crimes tribual hooting to hang dubya. You might, and you can vote your opinion. But you know nothing about Haditha except what is in the media. And neither do I. Until a court rules, I await a jury's findings and withhold judgement.
Bush made a case to the UN. You don't have to like his rationale, any more than I do or don't. He didn't make any Pearl Harbor or Poland sneak attacks either, but maybe your vision is too narrow to see that far back. Premeptive: yah the UN certainly was effective at controlling Hussein, Iraq, and the Oil for Food program. I really trust them w/ my life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
But that has nothing to do w/ the guilt or innocence of Marines in Haditha, either, does it.
WMD- persistent pursuit and acquisition of the technologies is sufficient reason to act, expecially when the rest of the world is too fugged over their sycophantic relationship w/ S'ad'Am Hussein. Bomb on!
You're all very droll and entertaining: I just refuse to let your opinions go unchallenged. None of us will win the debate here, but I will not pass w/o responding to your niggardly self-serving views.
