This is much ado about nothing. When you are in a hotzone black humor is usually the only kind that comes through after a few months. When you first get to the zone you think everyone is crazy. After six months everything seems normal. These guys are just working stuff through their head. Better in front of a mike that at 4 in the morning ten years later in a cold sweat. Hopefully not both. Unless you have had boots on the ground you have no way of understanding what those brief r&r hours are for and what they are like. You decompress any way you can.

Just try and think that the next time you walk outside and wait for a sharp pain -- then the sound since the round is supersonic. No warning. Ever. Now sing happy songs all the time.

Thank you

Quick-witted is much better than half-witted.

Every Muslim in his/her lifetime is supposed to make at least one pilgrimage (Haj) to Mecca. The male can be called Haji afterwards, the female Hajah.

It shows why wars of occupation are obsolete. Today, one small incident becomes a jpeg sent around the world in an instant. We are losing the first war of the 21st Century because we don't realize that wars are going to be fought totally different. If your a low down murdering rat, the whole world sees it today, live in living Internet color.
