Audi RS4

What do you guys think? Dealer here in Riverside, CA finally received their first shipment and I got a chance to see it but will not be able to test drive it until this Thursday. Anyone here have any opinions on the RS4. I would like to hear it...

Prior to seeing the Audi I was looking at the Porsche Cayman S and I like'd how it handled. With its mid engine I felt better handling control compared to past Porsche's. Trouble with the Cayman is that the 2008 version will have more horsepower and it has just become an all too common car here in Southern California. So I have really been anticipating the arrival of the RS4 but I need to ask around and maybe gather some feed back from some of you.

Thanks.

The RS4 is a lot of performance in a small package. You should definitely check it out.

Save some money and buy a used 1970 Eldorado. It and the RS4 understeer about the same. Eldo rides better.

I test drove both the Cayman and the RS4 last Thursday and well... the Porsche is still a Porsche and I think I got the salesman sweating a little when I decided to tale a hard left turn and I drifted the rear a litlle bit. Definitely a nice mid-engine porsche. I think it handles better than other Porsche's i've driven including the Carrera GT. Tha's a lot to say. Only trouble I had was that it still looked too feminine and the seating was not that all comfortable for a 5'7" guy like me. The 2007 is suppose to be turbo charged so with that added punch to it still won't change the looks. That rear just looks like a big ass!
The RS4 was a surprise! I had a chance to drive a buddy's 2000 model RS4 back in Germany. It was a twin turbo and it looked like a beefed up Ford Escort station wagon. That car was superb and comparing that car to this 2007 model I was amazed. The distribution of power was something else and although I was trying to compare this car to the BMW M5 there is just no comparison when it came to handling. I think I have made up my mind. If by chance come across a dealership in your area that has one. I genuinely invite you to test drive the car and see for yourself. It is well built and well balanced and when you press that sports mode the suspension stiffens like a rock and the seats hug you and maybe it was just me but the engine even sounded different.
I have onle last question for you guys and maybe you can help me out. The dealership here only has a silver one. I really want the Blue one but they are telling me that they cannot speacial order it. this is the first I have had to deal with Audi. Is that true? I am trying my own research and I have contacted other dealerships but some of the other dealerships are tacking on a premium. Although I am paying cash they are not cooperating. Can I special order an Audi and pick it up in Europe myself?
Any help will do Thanks!

Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear, reconed that the Audi RS4 is the best car in its class, even better than the BMW E46 M3. He also stated that the Porsche Cayman is a seriously ugly car, and the audi is stunning. They actually raced a hillclimber to teh top of a mountain in Europe, it was a great show.

My Cars : Mercedes CLS 320cdi, BMW 120d

My Bike : MV Agusta F4

I think the RS4 has a very generic look to it. I've seen them on the road and they are "plain Janes". I really like the Porsche Cayman S or the 911 S. If your going for a "sports car" don't settle for a "sporty sedan".

Saw a yellow Cayman in the Home Depot parking lot (go figure). Beau-ti-mofk-ful. I can't believe there are those that dislike it.
