RB, I think you have accurately described the alignment of the stars and planets. The one caution that I would add is that historical circumstances are useful as a hint, sign or suggestion, not a trodden path. Nobody has been where we are now. Implied whenever we do an extrapolation to the future based on historical events is that those things or parameters present today, that were not present historically (and vice versa), are not pertinent. Like when people say, "All things being equal...".
In truth, things are never equal, history does not repeat itself and no prediction is going to be simultaneously both accurate and precise.
If we could predict future economic events with both accuracy and precision then markets would disappear without a single socialist raising a clenched fist.
