I don't know. Denial is really strong, and people don't like to think. They make up their minds once, and it takes a lot to convince them otherwise. The majority of the public might be coming back to their senses, but 35% of the people are still unwilling to reconsider their position on this president.
I prefer the economist. This is a bit confusing, I never made the call 'that democrats love to hate'. My defrosting comment refers to her remote and standoffish demeanor, not her abilities. For whatever it is worth, I see U.S. Democrats as being center and Republicans to the right. BTW, People in other parts of the world regard the two parties not much different from comparing coca cola to pepsi cola. Cheerio, Teutone (aka Horst K)
Ah, I understand.
I agree that the two parties are evil twins. I generally vote third party.
For the previous election a friend made some campaign buttons that said, "I'm wasting my vote on Ralph Nader. Who are you wasting your vote on?"
Bush is in the toilet, and he is taking the whole GOP with him. I don't care if the dems nominate Sponge Bob Squarepants, he's in.
Most southerners have historically been Democrats. I'm not certain but I believe that Democrats still outnumber Repos and independents of various other affiliations.
Take my f-in-law. He usually votes for the Democrat Party. But he votes less frequently. He's a life-long Democrat who would never consider switching parties but wonders what they heck his party is doing hating religion and sucking-up to vegan socialists. So he just sits on his hands.
Bush is in the toilet, and he is taking the whole GOP with him. I don't care if the dems nominate Sponge Bob Squarepants, he's in.
With those kind of poll numbers I guess Bush is really worried about his reelection.
Then again, dem winners Al "Love Story" Gore & John "I served in Viet Nam" Kerry couldn't beat one little ol moron.
Sponge Bob Squarepants sure sounds like a winner over any candidate the dems might put forward.
