And each sect wants to send the other to hell. Just ask the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland. It's not ONE BIG HAPPY GROUP.

The distance between just those two show how far it has been twisted from the beginnings.

But I think you would have to admit that the "distance between" Catholics and Protestants is not nearly as great as, say, the distance between Christians and Muslims.

Don't believe everything you think

Regardless, they started with the same God.

I agree, and that's the way it's supposed to be; but I think a lot of people today think "their God" is better than "your God."

Don't believe everything you think

Cool Info on God

And on the seventh day, he returned, saying, "Wow, never thought a quote from a movie would generate such a response."

Man, having an exorcism performed on you can be a real bitch sometimes.

The distance between Christian Fundamentalists and Islamic Fundamentalists is miniscule. They both believe in magical demons, and both shit all over women and homosexuals, whom they wish to enslave or kill. The difference between Iranian Mullahs who think Imam Ali is coming back to slay the wicked and your average Kansas Republican who thinks Jesus is coming out of the sky on a seven horned beast to throw us all into a lake of fire is only one of detail - the world view is exactly the same. They are both a group of dangerous morons who think dinosaurs died out because they didn't make onto Noah's Ark, as the Kansas Board of Education would have us all believe.
