What a cool video. Both my brother and sister in law live in Dubai. I had noticed the many people driving into the desert on weekends, and later on the lines of cars to re-inflate their tires for road use. Interesting traffic laws too, where the police may not be allowed to stop a car. Cheerio, Teutone (aka Horst K)

What I found really interesting is that one can never have a driving license unless
these exceed the speed limit by 30 km/h or so in the street test. I guess they
know that people over speed and want new drivers to be able to manage.
Police are really polite here. Whenever they stop me, they say the same thing all the
time: "I don't want to issue a fine but another officer may do.. So you'd better do
so and so/ not do so and so".

That sort of off-roading requires momentum without going too fast (!) It's a fine line which that driver JUST missed. Good recovery, though

reminds me of that old question: is adrenalin brown?
