I am still in DC Jayhawk and I just found a place to stay until I start college this fall. I am renting an apartment on Wisconsin Ave right next to the Russian embassy residence. I have excellent view of their facilities and parts of DC. Hey I am not too far from the VP dig I can see his lawn.
Yeah I did get in the bar and had a blast. The girls here are super duper and they love lying bastards like me. This is my town dude, I am finally at home!
I will start a blog soon so let me know if it will be a good idea and if some of you will be interested in a VIP pass to my diary. It will be zesty, that I promiss.

Glad to hear that. I love DC myself. I worked The Hill for many years as president of a national organization, and often considered living there myself, but never did. I still have fond memories, so am living vicariously through you. I know that town well, and you are in a very nice neighborhood. Up there by the Naval Observatory, you must be just NW of Georgetown Rec Center. Are you planning to hook up w/ a job on The Hill or in the Admin. or just hanging in DC for the summer?

A blog sounds good!

Oh, I am going to work that's for sure. I have a few opportunities unfolding but I will keep mum until I have something concrete. And yes I will be on the Hill so it will be a shlep from where I am to the Capitol area. I prefer not to drive my precious Alero so I will be taking a taxi or a bus that goes down Mass ave all the way to the train station from there I will just walk to the senate building. ooops I amsaying too much.
So yeah I am near the Naval Observatory but there is nothing interesting there, the action is a bit north a couple of blosck from me. I went to the Zebra Lounge a few hours ago and it was nice. Now right down the street from me there is this joint call the Good Guys and man that's like going to the gynocologist, not my cup of tea. I will be checking out fancier places on L street I hear they class. Will see.

There should be a Metro stop somewhere around there. It would be a ten minute ride for about $1.

Hart, Dirkson, or Russell?

There's a great little restaurant just across the parking lot in front of the Russell Seante Office Buliding. It is The Monocle, and I think the address is about 107 D St. NE. It is where everybody who is anybody around The Hill goes for lunch. Try the crabcakes!

I however ate luch at the air and space museum then went for an interview at the deprtment of labor across from the Mall. It went fine but I don't fancy working there it will be like real work. I want action, I want to go where the girlz are.
