RE: I am in DC

If that beautiful lobby didn't inspire you to write a powerful essay, nothing we tell you will be of much help. This site might help w/ your task, however: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=george+washington+admissions+es say

Also, if you really want to get a drink, go to a nice restaurant--no jeans unless obvious designer--and take a conservative newspaper (The Washington Times would be good); put it on the table after you are seated and order a drink w/ dinner. They will serve you w/out a question.

RE: I am in DC

Thanks Jayhawk, but I am going to attend Georgetown U. I did however get a peak at GW, it's not bad but its like in the middle of the city unlike Georgetown which has an enclosed feel to it, hell it even has a huge gate leading to the administrative building. I like Gothic architecture and there was plenty of that unlike GW which was a bit too modern for my taste.
I also checked American U up on Mass Ave, nah I did not like it, it had no character except the neighborhood was kind of nice and there is parking.
I am going to Catholic U on Friday but it's in a so so neighborhood but it's a nice campus from what I hear.
Georgetown is in the bag as far as acceptance, it's just a matter of a few things that I need to complete.
I will also be checking it's law school facility which is not too far from the Capitol. I will probably get a job there or in the senate building or even maybe at AIPAC they have a huge building and are next to metro and the trains and of course the Capitol. I am very excited and looking forward to meet some important people and learn to be just like them.

Great school! You are very fortunate to have such options. If your still looking for essays: http://www.epistemelinks.com/Edge/Essays/lo_futuregoals.asp

AIPAC would be great, but if you can hook up w/ a Senate office you will have many great opportunities. Actually, you will have many opportunities anywhere near The Hill!

GOOD LUCK! Keep us all informed.

RE: I am in DC

Well I am back in my room for an hour or so before heading back outside for some fun. The Georgetown area is packed with people given this nice weather. I even met some very interesting people. For instance I struck a conversation with this woman near the canal while I was walking towards the Potomac's boardwalk. We went for a drink together and she told me that she was a political insider of sort at one time. She told me she got so famous that she had to hide her identity but she gave a website address where she was featured: http://www.wonkette.com/
I have not had a chance to look at it since I am in a rush to go party somewhere.
I will stay online while I catch up with my email for now.
Oh, I went to the Mall today, wow I was very impressed with all the museums I even took some stuff with me. I have what I think is a toe or finger of a dinosaur, I am not too sure but I am sure they won't miss it.
Maybe I will grind it and see if I can make oil out of it. I will let you know
