Weren't you one of those people whining about no drilling in Anwar? Open the fucker up, lets start drilling. Not a solution but can help while a long term solution is worked out.

The real solution was the one we debated on MB shop two years ago - a tax on gas guzzlers. The real problem is SUVs. We are faced with a situation where demand from China and India against the same supply of crude is going to cause prices to rise unless we can cut consumption in America to the point things begin to equalize again. We need nuclear power, a moon-shot style program to develop solar, and we need to just quit burning so damn much gas.

Again go find my post about how gas is cheaper now than it has ever been. Oil is 5 times cheaper than it was 100 years ago. If oil prices kept up with inflation we should be paying over $6 a gallon. And your buddy John Kerry keeps voting to add a 50 cent a gallon tax to gas, the actual price of gas is about 75 cents lower than what is posted but that differs from states depending on how much they tax it.

There is enough drilling going on as of now.Not to worry though,we are in the works of feeding you lower 48ers a natural gas pipeline.
