Before you start calling someone a "fucking idiot" you might want to pick up an English grammar book and study the usage of your and you're.
Also, you're missing the point on gas prices. The petrolium companies know that people will buy gas regardless of how much it costs. You have to have gas for your car to drive to work right? So, why charge $1.50 a gallon when people will pay $3.00+ for it? The problem isn't so much supply as the corporations bending you over a barrel, pun intended.
You can increase the supply as much as you want but if the petrolium company decides not to lower the price than increased drilling does nothing.

Six months if depleted all at once. But who depletes a filed all at once? Instead, we tap thousands of fields a little at a time. So adding another trickle to the stream would be nice.
The big unknown is what will happen when the Russian kleptocracy finally allows industry to tap their far-east almost totally undeveloped hydrocarbon resources in Siberia. That's a pipleine away from China. Or a major war away from China. They do have an historic claim to Siberia.
