No, I don't nor have ever thought that Ted's Chappaquiddick adventure should, or evet should, be excepted as normal.....the guy was drunk!
I would bet my life that none of you would ever do the same if confronted..............
Ted fucked up, but it does not complete a profile for the given, it does say he should be responsible and I believe he did pay....but throat cutters can never be satisfied!
I think he is a fuck-up and because of what he did can never be mended, but he still has, as a senator, and has been as a senator, above and beyond for those who Americans who needed him......
Same reason folks start at the very beginning, before a word leaves their mouths or a thought scampers by, people hate the Kennedy and Bush and Heinz-Kerry's. The great wealth and privilege buys them easy access and entree that normal folks don't have. It is similar in species to the way some black people feel about whites.
As the saying goes, most blacks want to be in a fair race but when they start the race with one foot in a tire while the competitors start with a trainer and good running shoes. Yeah, the all have equal access to the starting line but....
