RE: US Economy creating good, high paying jobs
This is one of those unreliable trend stories that really doesn't say much at all but makes it seem like somethings happening by citing anecdotal evidence. There's no real data to back up the claims being made and then they go andd contradict themselves later when they actually start citing facts. For example:
"The new jobs still include plenty at the low end: An analysis by Merrill Lynch finds that some 40 percent of the net gain in March came in two areas known for low pay: retail services and leisure/hospitality, which includes restaurants."
Piss poor writing in my opinion. As usual, I don't have an opinion on the topic, but I definitely have an opinion on the worth (or lack thereof) of this article in shedding light on it.
