such a collection of my finger print is in violation of my 4th ammendment right of the US constitution. imho.
Maybe in your opinion but not in the eyes of the court. In GA to get a drivers licenses they fingerprint you. If you work in many parts of the financial industry you are fingerprinted.
i can see the second but the first [:0] glad i don't reside down there. [:)]
You better get used to - it's part of the Patriot Act. All states have to have fingerprint ID on DLs by 2008, a response to the fact the 9-11 hijackers used easy id standards to get phony licenses, which got a number of these known terrorists on the plane.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
