I was bored. The information about death by tiger was a tonic for me.

A catatonic.

RE: Cause of death: Tiger

I knew a guy who was a Long Range Reconnisance guy during the Vietnam War, guys who went deep in the jungle to quietly gather intelligence on targets. He mentioned they were more afraid of tiger attacks than they were the VC, and that quite a few GIs lost their lives as a one course meal. I think one of the big Nam flicks had a scene in it showing this danger.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

They would be more interesting if they ate their prey, too.
