RE: Things you don't want to hear...

Rommel was not, as a matter of fact, a member of the Nazi Party. As an American, I'll wisely stay out of the who-did-what-to-who over there, but I agree with DR that there were far worse places to be than London. But my father, who was a grunt artilleryman with the 42nd "Rainbow" Infantry Division which fought it's way across France, southern Germany and into Austria used to say to those who "talked" a good fight: "What d'ya know about fighting? You ever crap on a battlefield and wipe your ass with a bayonet?" (Oh, he was full of pith!)

"Someday you will die somehow and something's gonna steal your carbon."

Interesting. I stand corrected. But then again, had he lived to survive Hitler, he would have been tried for war crimes in Nuremberg.

Regarding Hitler one ball song, I understand that there are quite many variations - the one I used to sing along as a kid growing up in the Southeast definitely had Rommel in the first verse but I could not find that one.

Or....

The July 44 plot works, As a non-Nazi, the coup organizers give the president job to Rommel, Rommel offers the articles of surrender long before the country was split in two by the Russians & Americans.

No Check Point Charlie :-)

Always a "what-if" :-)

Hey Deathrattle. Morbid name, must be worried bout your prostate or the little c. DONT. Go to Amazon and get 'A Cure For All Cancers' by Hulda Clark PhD ND, and start detoxing heavy metals, parasites etc. I will give you contact of a great UK herbalist for the anti parasite herbal tincture. Then you add a 500mgs capsule of cayenne after dinner, not yet in DR HC protocol. New stuff. Then buy a colloidal silver machine, on which I will teach you how to reduce the colloids to nano size to kill off any virus or mycoplasma, or bacteria. I was born in 38, and I dont bother with the rubber glove, knife and radiation brigade. They are full of BS. This is much more productive and satisfying than putting an AMG badge on the back of the your MB.-

There is no AMG badge on Dirty Gerdy, you silly old man.

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

Deathrattle-This came about because I joined a community called deathlist.org and everyone there tries to have a humorously appropriate screen name and I like to keep things simple,so I kept it when I joined benzworld in a hurry to ask a question!
(There was a thread regarding the origin of members names about a year ago).
Anyway,no I'm not worried about any of my glands-everything seems to work perfectly at the moment! However, when I was working in NY a good friend related his experience in a doctor's visit to me and his story has stuck in my mind ever since. At that time, being British,I was unaware of the American practice of routine prostate exams and I thought he was winding me up.I think now there is a blood test for Prostate cancer,so in the event,I think I will go that route.
Incidently,I'm not a great believer in alternative medicine, unless they have been proven in clinical trials, but I do try to eat fresh chillies everyday.[:p]
How is it that the nano-colloidal therapy has not been adopted for diseases such as AIDS?

RE: Things you don't want to hear...

They might have put Rommel on trial for using slave laborers in France in early '44, but that would be it: otherwise his troops always acted honorably to civilians and POWs alike in France in '40 and later in North Africa; he didn't have a battlefield command in Poland or on the Eastern Front.
John Lennon referred to Hitler as "Mad Alf Who Only Had But One," I believe.
DR: the first time I had the exam the doc put his left hand on my shoulder and checked me with his right. No, he put his right hand on my shoulder and checked me with his left. Hey, wait a minute - the bastard had a hand on each shoulder!!!!
