Well, obviously it screws into the filter adapter of your{50mm}lens,and it seems to have a decent opaque diffusor,so get a good light source and enjoy!

Yep,Might want to mess with your exposure settings 'til you get a decent shot.

Is there any Lit,accompanying this that advises optimum lighting and exposure values?

Depending on how many slides you are thinking of converting into digital format, what your budget is, and how much of a quality image you expect, it may make sense to purchase a film/slide scanner such as Nikon CoolScan.

I've PM'ed the seller...but as yet...no response.
Heres his Evil-Bay auction.

That Nikon Coolpix thingy looks cool...did a search...but couldn't find a price on it yet.

But..I'll definatly check it out.

Gota couple 1000 slides...& I would like a very decent copy.

RE: Any Photographers here..?

I think it's a slide copier. I have a Nikor one that is similiar to the concept for my old Nikon F2. It comes in handy if you need to copy a slide for your family or friends.
