How nice of Mrs. Star to put your bowls in a riser. It's nice and bright. Looks great.

RE: Kitchen Remodel

The kitchen set stays. I have another natural stone table outside. The dining room set is oak.

Looks nice. I finally got mine done. If I ever get a digital cam, I'll take pix and post them.

I hope the guys that are installing your tops have measured them right. The guys that did mine mismeasured the left piece and when they arrived to install, it was 1 1/2 " too short! Needless to say, the top didn't leave in the condition in which it arrived. I was picking up pieces of granite out of my driveway and little pieces out of my kitchen. The owner took a hammer and vented his anger on it. There first story was that they broke it installing, but an employee told on him.

I offered to measure for him but, noooooo! He knew what he was doing. The new piece was measured RIGHT. You would think that a $1,500 piece would have been measured twice and cut once!

RE: Kitchen Remodel

Guy spent an hour and a half making a veneer template for the granite. They're coming out Tuesday with the goods. I'll keep 'em crossed.
