RE: Sealed with a kiss

By clubbing them to death?

And why only the babies?

And why not use bullets? Population control is one thing, standing over a baby and clubbing its head till it dies is another.

You have a weak argument. Better yet, let me come to your house and club your kids to help control human population.

Why is a bullet better than a club? A bullet messes-up the meat and pelt. If you're gonna kill the cute little critters why waste the left-overs?

Oh you Americans and your total faith in the media. Your media doesn't want you to see the death of the adults which are not cute and furry. Where is the sympathy in that? Why don't you flick off the CNN and step outside for once, it's quite nice outside and there isn't terrorists.

Have you ever been to where seals live, have you seen how many there are? Do you realize how much they have to eat to keep up their blubber levels? Do you realize how much milk a seal must produce to keep a baby healthy? We as humans are overpopulated and due to our needs for fish (both economically and survival) we must keep the seal population down.

My government has extremely strict rules about poaching and hunting with respect to population control. Newfoundland is also extremely poor, they need fishing to survive.

Freude am fahren!

And how else you get those information if not for the media?

I sympthize animals big and small. Especially being clubbed to death. And oh I forgot, you did say it was all for mercy killing, right?

It's not the terrorists I worry, it's merceyless people that I am afraid of.

RE: Sealed with a kiss

What would McCartney say if he saw a deer get an arrow through the chest during bow hunting season in the states. I have seen many "misses" where the bow goes in and the deer runs. Hunters have to track the deer down by following hte blood trail.

Hunting is a fact of life in most cultures. The article stated they were using rifles, yet the tree huggers continue to harp on the clubbing. (pun intended)
