It was a hunting accident where the other party did not follow proper procedures. Do you know how many hunting accidents there are in the US each year? If it was pretty much anyone else it may make a small blip on the local news.

Get over it.

...what he said!
It's not the accident per se but how it was handled thereafter. A local sheriff's deputy was turned back by secret service when he went to the ranch to prepare an accident report that evening. The local authority did not get the full picture until the morning after. Imagine a John Q Public trying to pull the same move.

And the reason was so obvious - he was drunk.
I think he was drunk. What other reason was there to not cooperate with the local deputies?

And you know---it really wouldn't be that big of a deal---it was an accident, afterall. It's just that anyone else in the same situation would not have gotten away with it. Why should Cheney get away with it? Because he's the VP? Screw that.

Thank you for confirming my point that this administration is no different from that of the pigs -- some are more equal than others.

I pity your cultural illiteracy. Then again, is it your alma mater that is to blame?

Congratulations. That is probably the most intelligent thing you have said all day - it describes with utmost precision the modus operandi of the current administration.

Here's the reward.

Read it.
Look forward to a more engaging discussion in the future.

Come on dude what country do you live in? Drinking and hunting go hand in hand in the US. Can't have phone with fire arms unless alcohol is involved.

RE: To all Dicks who dislike Dick

phone with fire arms? What, are you on a hunting trip?

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
