May well become a classic!

Interesting paradox-having to swear on a bible to uphold the Constitution which guarantees the separation of church and state.
Where does our Constitution say 'Separation of Church and State'?

Where does our Constitution say 'Separation of Church and State'?
http://www.usconstitution.net/jeffwall.html
Jefferson's letter IS NOT part of the Constitution. It is an opinion from one individual that attempted to answer a question posed by a religious group.

Jeffersons Letter:

Was not included in the COTUS

Was not signed by the framers

Was not ratified by two-thirds majority of States

Therefore, NO WHERE in our constitution does it say or ever said 'Separation of Church and State'. This phrase has since used in error by our Supreme Court to answer several cases that have come before them. Our Constitution guarantees that the government will NEVER impose one particular religion on the american people, as was done by the English.

As quoted from Ammendment I:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; . . ."

This is the only place it is mentioned.
