Exactly, TK. Which is why you have to create the image when your PC is set up, but before you do very much else. That way you have a clean starting point.
Of course, down the road when you restore the image, you'd need to patch up your OS, update virus, etc., and then save that as the new image before running off to enjoy the 'net.
The whole idea is that restoring an image is about a 20 minute process, formatting a drive, reloading an OS and installing/configuring all the programs is several hours.
We use Ghost all the time at work, but for the casual user it's a real headache to learn to use it, etc. And then to remember how when it's 18 months later and you need to restore the image. :)
