Because not everybody has a deep pocket like you.
So a person has no problem dropping $100k in a car but it becomes untenable at $130K?
That flat out seems silly. If you can afford one you can afford the other.
That seemed like a given to me but apparently not. I was more interested in the performance functionality angle.
ive tried for a while to reply to your post, chip. i just dont know what to say.
1) $30,000 is plenty of money
2) sometimes(try hard to wrap your mind around this) a $95,000 car is enough.
3) maybe the person in question doesnt need a tweezer to pee.
i kind of see your point, but i dont like the way you pretend its just money, like it ought to be thrown around freely and with abandon.
6.1 seconds to 60 *IS* kinda shameful for an automobile that costs as much as the sl500 does. i mean, the $20k srt/4s would wipe the floor with it. hell... my stock dohc manual coupe does a 7.6 second run
say it with me now...
one one-thousand, two
saving that ^^ much time doesnt seem to be worth 80 grand to me, maybe other folks really dont care either.
