157mpg? yes...

Take a look at this cool little car:
http://www.loremo.com/index_en.php

The GT version is so cool. Using only 2.7 liters of diesel/ 100kms, but still being able of going 220kph.
And they are amazingly cheap imo!

Too bad they aren't for sale till 2009. But maybe (read: hopefully) then I'll be in the market for this intresting thing.

Cool cars but come 2009 I doubt they'll be €11,000 euros.[8)]

2009, okay, we will have a new president, the summer olympic would over a year ago in China. We would be getting ready for the Winter olympic in Vancouver. Our cars will be three years older and many more miles on them......

What do they call the new model the IKEA?

Some things are worth the extra expense chiefly among them cars and toilet paper.

An automobile is an expression of personality. Maybe cost of operation will make the car as souless as a dryer but it won't be by 2009.

i agree that for extra cost a few extras might be offered. extras such as... some kind of trim panels for the interior, a dash panel, engine temperature gauge and maybe even a front bumper.

ive always liked the way the germans can build a very spartan car, but warm it up with warm wood accents or add a strip of shiny chrome to help the eye travel... this car has absolutely nothing in it that draws my eye in. i love a diesel.... im poor as hell, two things in their favor.

they just need to make it more car and less "transportation module"

This signature removed to protect the innocent.

The car comes standard with airconditioning, trip computer, navigation, MP3 player sound system, airbags and ofcourse a particle filter.
That's not to bad for 11 or 15 grand? (Considering the idea of the car)
