Yup,do you have a quartz watch or clock with a seconds hand?As I mentioned above you can do a fairly good job of regulating the pendulum by using the quartz timekeeper as a "master"noting whether the Granfather{or Tallcase as us Horologists call it}gains or loses in comparison with it,really simple.

I'm assuming you have a working knowledge or how to regulate your clock,more info in my post above.
Any more questions please be as detailed as you wish.
