You MUST warm the pot (or mug) otherwise the water is so far off boiling that the tea never infuses properly and tastes like cabbage water.Teabag tea is generally blended to release colour fast,but that is an unreliable indication of the strength and depth of flavour.

The smaller the pot,the greater the need for a cosy.
Are you sure it's not one of those little covers made for boiled eggs?Quails eggs.[:D]

Wow,what a coincidence.I was in Brick Lane yesterday and nearly bought a T-shirt with Sid on it.Didn't have my size though.(Double Onslow)

ol Nescafe will do it for me.

although when I do drink it, i make it with milk, not water.

and not microwaved milk, its warmed on a hob.
1 spoon of coffee ,with 2 sugars, yum!

but you cant beat a good cuppa of Tetley !! [^]

especially with a smoked salmon bagel.[}:)]
