Eat a lamb sandwich (souvlaki, yiros, whatever you call it, kebab i think in London) then pass out on the train ride home, wake up in another city. Then on Tuesday night...
...do the same except only this time, wake up with your pants down in a den of faggots.

RE: An Acceptable Scotch?

"Bollocks, calvados is in a way a by-product of apple cider. At least it is this century. I dont think apples for cider are windfall. Ive heard teh story before as well, and yes it has a strange aroma! "

Technically,Calvados is to the cider business in France as Grappa is to to the wine business in Italy-but I agree that these days, the French just delight in spoiling a foreigner's (especially British) enjoyment when they have the opportunity.

I like the idea of Christianity where the Ten Commandments are optional.Perhaps if this evolutionary process continues, in the fullness of time we can discount the exisence of God as well and can go to church on Sundays for a piss-up and a bite to eat.Maybe a few games of Poker and a massage.I'm starting to feel religious afterall.[:p]

RE: An Acceptable Scotch?

The 12 year MacCallan is very good for a reasonable bottle. The 14 year Oban is quite good as well and in the exact same prive range. I'd keep a Johnny Black around in case some one wanted a blend.
