RE: deathbed

Get medicine and sleep

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

British dentists do not have much of a reputation and I don't know about how the doctors are over there, but go see a doctor.

Is NHS really a dreadful system?

I had something similar and milder (all the symptoms you listed except joint discomfort and wheeziness) linger for the past two weeks. It was viral and there was nothing much I could do about it except for it to pass.

You could have strep throat - again, go book an appt with your doc to get tested.

Another thing, take a break from BW (though we will miss you) as it can sap what is little left in you [8D].

Take care

RE: deathbed

The first and only genuine single malt made in Canada- it is actually very good.

They only started just over 10 years ago - so 10 years is as old as it gets for now .......

I'd prescribe one for you but I'm afraid I may kill you by serving Lye Whisky.

From experience,I'm pretty sure it's viral and not Strep Throat-different kind of soreness.

NHS is ok,but very much subject to one's particular GP.I wouldn't feel confident of NHS care for major illness or surgery but I've been spoiled and always had private insurance.Trouble is,as i get older the premiums are getting stiffer!!
My GP is pretty good-I think he went to the same high school as me but a few years below.Thank god he's not someone I intimidated! Now,I pretty much tell him what drugs I want and he writes them up.Codeine for my skeletal injuries mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
