I haven't had a virus on a computer I've owned yet. If I ever do I have a nice Norton Ghost image.
neither have I. I hope i never do either. I have had many laptops and computers as well.

My cars:

BURGUNDY 1989 560 SEL (W126) - Sold

Ewwww.

I have dial-up, and i was told that it would be better to run anti-virus scans with the modem disconnected (take off the phone line connected to the computer). Is this true?
So what do you guys think about this? Should I disconnect the phone line, then run the stuff?

Yes, it will decrease the Benzworld server load.

Are you being sarcastic? I was told it would make the anti-virus run more efficiently, and it would stop those things that it catches permanently (or something like that).

i think that it will be a good idea, cuz then your antivirus will focus on your computers hardware, and not the internet. You should try it. Might as well.
