Easy on the cello bashing people! I've played cello for over 11 years.
OMG... he plays rugby, he plays cello, is there anything the man can't do...

I like Dvořák's Cello Concerto.
who? yo yo ma? or syracuse?
I always love flight of the bumblebee, its a funny piece.

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

I like Dvořák's Cello Concerto.
He is quite a Renaissance man. Just be sure to tape up and protect those digits before the match.

Dvořák Cello Concerto is nice (I love the 'Coming Home' part from 'New World' symphony - ever since ATT did a choral rendition of it shortly after 9/11, it has become a sure fire way to activate my tear glands).

My favorite cello piece is Elgar's Cello Concerto - it is so painfully elegiac.

Before there was Yo-Yo Ma, there was Yo-Yo Grand Ma Ma [|)]

Seriously, before him, there was the beautiful but ephemeral Jacqueline du Pré. Her rendition of the two concerti mentioned above makes all the hair on my body stand on its end.

I would like to say I push myself, in all aspects of life. Actully, first day of rugby spring practice was tonight, very fun being one of the guys who now teaches the game to younger players. We finshed tied for 2nd in the state, final four apperance for the Northeast Championship, and 32nd in the country. Im also becoming an RA next semester...so im pretty busy, but I couldnt live any other way. Ohh, we also got a front page article about SU rugby in our university paper today..amazing they knew we exsisted. Maybe we can get some more funds. We get $1800 for two teams for the whole year, while Dartmouth just had a 4 million dollar clubhouse built for them...spoiled punks
dont smash your face and mouth up when you play rugby.

Did you ever see the film about the two sisters? Sounds like it'd be right up your alley.

Also, just how hairy are you?

That's what's known as a setup...

Actully a mouthguard is the only padding I wear. Im the flyhalf so when the ball came back for me to kick it, I got it off(just out of bounds[:D]), but an opposing foward clothes-lined me and flipped me backward. Got up, and thanks to my mouthguard, everything was fine. We ended up playing a great game that day... [:)]

Yes, "Hillary and Jackie".

I am a great fan of Emily Watson and the Oscar nomination for her role is well-deserved (same goes to Rachel Griffiths aka Brenda from 'Six Feet Under').
When the film first came out, I thought it was about the two First Ladies.

Yes, I somehow predicted the hairiness issue to come up.

Who here in the forum wants to know?

FYI, five years spent in the bitter coldness of Upstate New York in Attica, uh make that Ithaca, as well as supposed mix of Russian blood from a castaway sailor back in early 19th century has made me hairier than the garden variety Asians.
