RE: Marsden

Yeah, a Mercedes V8 that's one thing I do not have.

And I need it like a hole in the head. BUT... the one in Florida, we're gonna wait and see how the auction pans out, as I don't want to buy one without checking it out in person.

But I am learning that 126s with such low mileage are very rare...

RE: Marsden

Mine's super low miles for a 126 for sure.

126's are awesome cars and you'll learn that. I could afford a brand new MB but have no desires to...

You more convinced about 126 safety than you were b4?

RE: Marsden

I've had a brand new MB - in 2000, one of the biggest POS I have ever owned.

I bought my wife a brand new Audi 6 months ago - traded her 3 year old Jaguar 'cause it wasn't practical for the dogs.

But I still have my 126 [^]

My first MB was a 111 and that was a beautiful car (until I ran it into a tree [V]), the 126 is just the last well made big Benz, IMO.

Go get one.

RE: Marsden

ha.. how much you want for YOURS, T??

it looks about perfect, super low miles and I love the gunmetal blue-grey.

can't make up my mind about your wheel thing (that was you, right?) think I agree with the guy who says go for it but keep the originals too.

I like it both ways. But you've probably heard that about me..

RE: Marsden

The funny thing about my car is that it has absolutely no value in the US. But a US spec car like mine would be about $20,000 US.

The reason why it's got no value is because you can't get it into the US due to your laws.

My car's got service records on file since day one, yearly Japanese government documentation confirming proper maintanace, all the mileage matches up, all manuals and a membership for a Japanese golf and country club, the Japanese version of AMA as well. The car came with the original Becker system with the stock remote control for the back seats - it's big LOL. I guess I should get around to taking better interior shots - the leather is simply perfect - the car is for all intents and purposes, new.

When you find the right 126, you will know and you will love it!
