This Hyundai Elantra slammed into a center divider. I saw it on the freeway today and took a pic of it.

Jees. This is why I dont want to buy a small car.

you know, i dont get why you say you wouldnt buy a small car.

the car did exactly what its supposed to do in an accident. the passenger compartment is intact, it seems to have done a good job!

For a small car, seems quite safe to me. Unlike that C Class I seen that hit a telephone pole. Not so good.

ever think that maybe they were trying to get out of that hyundai and into something a bit more upscale through misuse of the insurance system?

ive heard that if you ride in an ambulance from the scene of an accident, youre pretty much guaranteed a little chunk of money.

i hate when people did this to me, so i dont exactly know whyever i am doing it to you but...

you really will feel better about yourself if you dont let your father buy you your car. youll feel better about the car and take better care of it as well.

boy, i was a worthless 16yo. no job, new car. i am thankful(my siblings had a race to see who could get their second new car first-- brother won-- traded his 96 dakota club cab v8 for a 97 ram 4x4 after 18 months... my father paid for that one too) however, unlike my siblings who just abused the system and left slim pickins for the baby.

maybe im jealous or something.

they got nice big vehicles(dakota slt/ram slt and intrepid es/taurus ses, lil dustin got a neon and then bought his own mercedes and vw. [:p] why am i even posting this shit.

find a good w123 for a reasonable price, youll get a real benz for a steal of a price and it will last you until you can afford to upgrade. it may very well outlive that computer on wheels that youre so fond of!

its not showy or super advanced, but it did set the benchmark that all mercedes cars since havent been able to reach(in terms of longevity and build quality, at least)[:)]
