there were alabama schools that did this as well, lots of jealousy by those that didnt get them, too much to continue the programs.

laptops are just too expensive to give away to 13 year olds.

dont think this is a comment towards you, but our kids are so spoiled, they break shit just to get it replaced. id fear that there would be a lot of broken screens, screen hinges and cd rom trays.
I hope one day, that some 13yr old kid throws a baseball at your freakin Neon!
i hope one day, that i too can get a McJob so i can attain all the luxuries a 1978 240d with 800,000 miles can afford its owner.

wait, i already have that.

maybe ill just get a job at a university or museum instead.

Asian, in all seriousness, when it comes time for college, go to the toughest one that'll have you.

You'll never be bored again. Of course, we'll miss you [;)]

Until then, get really good grades.

Got home and was bombarded with horror tales of geometry proofs on his finals. How did I survive that crap.

a noble automobile, indeed!

i always wanted to see a chrysler argon, but now ill never see it. boy, it'd have been nice if i'd have designed it. a chrome waterfall grille, wooden and chrome interior accents, leather upholstery and a small v6 engine.

mmm

I have a 14 yr old daughter.I would be interested to see what you are studying if you can post some examples to compare US/UK.Tks!
Compared to UK, I think we lose. Here's what we did a week ago. Oh and this is the notes that I take everyday. Just multiply that by 3 more pages.

work on your penmanship, child! arent asians supposed to be tidy, industrious people who can do great things with only a little space?[:p]

but yeah-- i am doing the same math as you and i am a senior at university(almost done! wahoo!!!!) this will be my 4th time taking a math class. once (at 8am) my first year(failed to attend enough classes) second time i passed with a c, last term i had to withdrawl, this time i am taking it again and plan to kick this fuckers ass.

too bad i still have to take 105, huh?

097(2) 102(2) 105(?) it seems a little crazy that ive spent thousands of dollars to learn algebra, im a studio artist dammit. what the hell?

random math quote of the day:

Quote:
Hey Romy, remember Mrs. Divitz's class, there was like always a word problem. Like, there's a guy in a rowboat going X miles, and the current is going like, you know, some other miles, and how long does it take him to get to town? It's like, 'Who cares? Who wants to go to town with a guy who drives a rowboat?
