I must say though.... That second 600SL replica looks very much like an r129, except the stupid engine scoops or whatever you want to call them

1983 Ford Mustang Convertible replica on 1978 Mercedes 380SL chassis. All OEM Ford parts used, including ORIGINAL wire spoke wheel covers on steel rims. Over $800 invested!


This is what red necks do in their spare time. As to the value of the parts invested, they were probably stolen or purchased at a flea market.

"Hey Bubba, what are you gonna do with all those Mercedes parts you boosted?"

"Hmmm, we could throw them on the rustang!"
