We can make left turns on red.
no such luxury here.
red light are red lights.
4am on a sunday morning, iv not seen another car for about 10 miles and the lights are red. its a wide junction and you can see clearly that no one else about.
so i take them.
then all of a sudden a cop car pulls out and stops me. cant really fault the cop as he is a decent guy, talks to me proper but says he HAS to give me penalty points and a fine. I argue that no ones else is about, there was no dangers etc etc,
but he remain steafast saying rules are rules.
until he asks 'is that really a Brabus??' .
hoho. then we talk about Sclasses for 15minutes, he says he always wanted one but how are they drive/ maintain.
i offer him a drive but he says he cant while hes working. then i tell him of an Sclass i checked at a garage, it was perfect but i wasnt looking for a third W140 , maybe he should have a look. then i tell him, say to the owner K14ANO sent you, and then the pink penalty book shuts and he says, yeah i might just do that.
moral : In Britain, you will not get away for jumping a red light even in the middle of the night. Unless you drive a S class. [:D]
