RE: Incredible Art made by stacking cans

I remember this. It's Canstruction®!

In fact, I once even stacked cans almost a decade ago (time flies...)

All the teams, mostly sent from architecture and engineering firms, have one night to stack the cans at a given display venue after a period of rigorous planning. 'One night' can stretch into wee hours of morning or even into the start of the next business day. The displays typically stay through the weekend or up to about a week and then dismantled. For each successful entry, there are 5 other mishaps (collapse, the most likely disaster) obviously not featured here.

I recognize some of the entries and know who built them.
All the cans used for display are then donated to local food banks.

If you live in a city that participate in this event, go find out the event venue and dates - it's worth checking out as entries get more elaborate each year, and it's all for a good cause.

More info and pics in the following:

Its like legos you can eat...well other then the metal part.

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
