Japanese Ice Creams

Japanese have long taken pride in their ability to adopt, adapt and improve on customs, practices and styles from other countries.

Having succeeded globally with cars, electronics and even fashion, it was only natural the Japanese turned their hand to trying to surpass the West with one of its favourite culinary delights - ice cream.

Some delicacies:...!!! Ewwww..!!

Cactus Ice Cream (Saboten Aisu)
Chicken Wing Ice Cream (Nagoya Tebasaki)
Crab Ice Cream (Kani Aisu)
Eel Ice Cream (Unagi Aisu)
Fish Ice Cream (Sanma Aisu)
Octopus Ice Cream (Taco Aisu)
Shrimp Ice Cream (Sakura Ebi Aisu)
Wasabi Ice Cream (Wasabi Aisu)

More details at:

Thanks, D.

Gross....Where's "Seafood Suprise?"

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

Those silly, trendy Nips, what about Whale ice cream? as they're supposed to be the world's largest whale hunters, perhaps Narwal Fudge,Baleen Crunch,Sperm Surprise? Hell, they seem to have no problem with euphonious, phonetic product names.

Phonetic, yes, but I do not find the Japanese language euphonious as other phonetic languages such as Italian.

Mandarin Chinese whispered softly in your ear, is.

I shall treat you to a scoop of beer aisu kuriimu with a scoop of karashi mentaiko aisu kuriimu.

Yes,indeed old sport,in addition to the wonderful ingredients and careful preparation that their cuisine is justly famed for!Why just glance at the menus below...

ROFL, neither is in Chinese: the first pic is in Korean, the second, Japanese.
Was it intentional that you missed an example in Chingrish or is it just out of pure ignorance?

Please tell me it's the former since I respect you based on your posts up to this point.
