I go skiing almost everyweek in the winter and so I have to wash the car almost every week. [:(]
you poor thing, you! how can you live llike that?!? you deserve so much better than to have to wash a car a week!!![}:)]
i havent done a thing to my cars in a very long time and they couldnt be happier! i stopped washing them around october because its just too cold.
i havent even serviced the neon in gods know how long. its durned near the 7500 mile mark in the manual. i am going to make a list for this car, because i think it is fixing to erupt into a million problems.
98 model 140k miles- clutch is slipping a bit, the sunroof needs a j-tube and a cable, the drivers door regulator is going again(these last two arent leons fault-- hes been hit with the moonroof open and the window regulators seem to find all the left over glass from when it was broken into)
and he needs another new radio, hes got fosgate speakers and alpine speakers and alpine speakers and a chrysler cd head unit... i took the upgraded one for the merc.
now the merc.
there isnt a week that i dont take something off of this car to clean or adjust it. its like an autistic child that i just cant bring myself to adopt out. i love him like hes my own(and he is) but i am beginning to wonder why anyone in their right mind would enjoy an ownership experience that involves a weekly repair session.
and lets not talk about 30 year old paint. i have to buff the car once every other week so it stays shiny.
i need a new car.
i re-read the posting and i changed tenses a bit too much-- i havent cleaned my cars out since october-- the neons hood has been opened to jump the 240 and the vw-- i didnt mention him because hes not even a car, hes a wheelbarrow with upholstery and an engine. [:)]
