RE: seen this at a local cemetery, couldnt believe it.

I get it! I think that I saw this on the Flintstones in the episode where Carry Graniterock was the guest star.
I could be wrong though. It was probably excavated alongside a woolly minivan. (sorry, my fingers just won't quit...)
Or better yet, "Hey Krog, how many miles per millennium do you get with that baby?" [:p]
Okay, you guys can puke now...

I've seen this before a few years back. I think it's so sweet the older brother did that for his smaller brother. [:)]

Being a cynic that I am imagine a following scenario:

After 1 1/2 years of meticulous carving and polishing someone decides to put the finishing touches on the boot-mounted emblem and snaps off a bit of the star? Erm...new block of granite?
yea. It's kinda dumb how they didn't even put a star on it. I know someone might steal it, but the car just doesn't look complete. They could at least put on a flat hood star.
If you go back to the original article and scroll down you will see a picture of the trunk lid, there IS a star over the license plate.

Deep! I wonder how that makes the Benz engineers feel.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
