That thing looks like an elephant turd...
As far as I am concerned SUV's should have only been manufactured by Isuzu, Toyota and GMC.
I'll tell you. I had a brand spankin' new Rodeo and although I loved the look and the option to change from 3 to 4 wheel drive, that thing bounced around on the highway. Used to scare the bejeezez outta me. My first drive in an ML and I was hooked.
No I agree the Rodeo was a piece of crap too... The Trooper on the other hand me likes...

This is how a manufacturer ends up loosing by diluting its product line.
M-B has too many damn models now. Do any of them actually work? [:0]

I have a bunch of SUVs
yeah...30 or 40 or so... I round 'em up ever week or so..
I have a large farm so I need 4X4 for the workers to do the rounds... Mine are all Land Cruisers (I will have to check with the foreman to see how many I have). These do not include trucks of all sizes and other farm equipements.

oops, I meant 2 to 4 wheel drive not 3, duh. I hated the look of the Trooper but I think it was a better truck. I'm going to seriously look at that new Toyota retro suv.

RE: Dodge Caliber - Unmasked clear pics

some of us might not be able to afford an expensive, showy "do-it-all-mobile"

for us, this is a useful vehicle. itll get good mileage, should be reliable and well priced.

i cant wait for the sedan next year.

baby 300/charger based on this same platform. itll be the stratus replacement.

The interior does look a bit plastic-thingy like.

RE: Dodge Caliber - Unmasked clear pics

i dont like it either.

its plain, very plain. but how many new normal cars are?

they barely make multi-piece assemblies anymore. if one panel works, an they can make it APPEAR to have a piece of trim, they will.

theyre all like that now.

i dont like the dash shifter thing. it could take a wooden veneer very well though, VERY flat. with chrome on the edges. on the doors as well, with a fabric insert.

good bones. i can see a computadora mounted in there, ipod integration, dvd, navi and a night-vision usb camera. mount it in the grille.

mmm mmm good.
