RE: Hemi Madness

Hey no problem, man

It's good to exchange opinions.

And I share you opinion that the two were better off seperate.

But I have to ask you since you seem to know a lot about Chryslers - is that SX 2.0 getting a diesel?

i dont quite know myself, really.

the calibre/compass and patriot will be on a modified mitsu lancer platform.

theyre going wagon/hatch style, with a boxy front end. jeep will get one, chrysler and dodge(from what i understand) three gasoline engines (1.8,2.0 and 2.4) can and will be used, theyre also going to make a vw tdi model, just buying crate engines i guess.

its planned to be a global car with a great numbers of configurations and options. sounds very promising, but i still think they should have called it a neon!

heh heh im partial though.

go to http://www.dodge.com/caliber/index.htmland you will see the future of the sx 2.0[:)]

http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?act=idx and you can read my post about why they wont offer a diesel here( i made the post--hows that for post whoring, huh?)

You kidding? Go get the rest of your Waggon as dirty (or dirtier) and start having fun with your Merc! Leave the polishing to the pansies out there [;)]

Do you intentionally prey on my OCD? I need you to get a bucket, fill it full of warm soapy water, take a nice clean lambswool covered sponge and go wash your front wheels before I jump off a roof. [^]

ThrillKill,

I take my Mercedes G-Cabrio off-road, when I am ready to wash it, I will let you know so you and your friends can wash it for me, if it is so important for you that you would "before I jump off a roof"

Please tell me you dont have children I hope you do not teach them to be that impulsive !

I watched some huge custom car auction on the Speed channel last night.
A factory 1968 Dodge Dart with dual quads (1 of only 80 made) went for $192,000. [:0]

ThrillKill,

I wouldn't waste my money on that crap in my opinion.

Well everyone has their dream vehicle.

I would rather own and keep my Mercedes G-Cabrio.

How many times are you going to beat us over the head with your G-Cabrio? We're glad you like it already! We all have nice cars on this forum. You're not inspiring jealously, just sounds like you're bragging. I much prefer my classic v126 S class. Can you post anything interesting for us to read?

RE: Hemi Madness

My dad had a dodge dart way back. Even though he bought it for $400, put in a $800 system, and sold it for $2000, I hope he didnt sell something that was worth way more.....[xx(]

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

I-Neon.

excuse me?

chrysler was doing better without mercedes.

they had released a slew of VERY popular and forward cars right prior to the merge. the neon was selling in large volumes(and if they would have kept advertising, it would have beaten the civic/carollas of its day) the intrepid could be seen almost as much as the taurus(the best selling taurus-- not the turd one) we'll forget about the jan brady model cloud cars, theyre very forgettable.

the viper was a success. the ram truck has inspired the styling of ALL trucks since its big fenders debuted in 1994.

chrysler was doing well for itself in 1995-1998(or whenever the merge was) i cannot say the same for mercedes.

just because it has a star on it, doesnt make it a good car.

rotting spring perches(w210) bad head gaskets(everything with a 3.2v6) bad wiring harnesses(again...3.2v6) the m class(needs no mention-- bad introduction all around-- pre chrysler, i might add) what about the legendary diesel engines found in mercedes cars in 1991-1995, huh?

yeah-- engeneering excellence.

you just keep stroking off looking at that star, dude.

as for me-- ill take a car of real quality over one with perceived quality any day.

Thank you. I didn't want to be the dick. I'm so sick of seeing that girly truck, man. It's like if someone says they like peanut butter, you return with a post stating, "I like peanut butter too especially when I'm sitting in my G cabrio Barbi wagon, Behold it's beauty". Dude, enough already.
