i'll refrain from any crap and/or baby jokes.

i have been taking notice of where the things i purchase have been made in an attempt to support countries that at least have a decent standard of living.

my glasses were made in austria (dior) my cereal bowl was made in alabama by someone called dustin(his name is on the bottom)

my sketchers shoes(that say sketchers USA on the box) were made in china.

the keyboard i am typing on was "designed by apple in california-- assembled in malaysia"

the one thing i can put my hand on that was purchased and not imported was my cigarettes and lighter. marlboro and bic[:)]
Is Bangladesh one of those countries? I thought a company like Polo Ralph Lauren would have had their clothes made in America.

pfffft polo ralph luaren abercrombie and all those other expensive clothes are made in countries were it is cheapest to produce a pair of worn out jeans by the pallet

that way abercrombie and the lot can charge 80$ for a 10$ pair of worn out jeans with crotch wear and some fading.. lame.. i pay 15$ for a pair of dickies at sears .. where i can walk 100 feet and buy my tools..

WTF! iNeon get a life! Who the hell looks to see were there pants are made. You need to get laid iNeon.

Morpheus* [8]
it all doesnt come back to not getting any loving. whileever i am on this subject... its been my experience that those that talk about it a great deal dont actually get much.

furthermore, someone that eternally smells like a fry pit, has MPD on an *annonymous* website , 'drives' 3 make-believe automobiles and thinks a sports grille looks good on any w123-- let alone a beaten down 240 with more rust than a fucking fiat-- has no place telling me to get a life.

none.

dont you have a drive through you should be running?

RE: where were your pants made?

a textile story close to home:

my hawaiian grandmother and one of my aunts worked at a small sporting goods manufacturing plant-- they sewed bowling bags and golf bags.

with the current trend of outsourcing, the company(kent sporting goods) decided to move this operation to china. whenever they did, they presented all the employees there(this is a tiny lil ohio town) with notices that said:

you can keep your jobs if you move to china(at your own expense) and accept a salary in-line with those of the native workers.

my grandmother had been at this job over 20 years, now. did they actually expect any of these people to move?

surely not!

Too damn cold to take them off to look. When in jeans I wear GAP's brand. When in slacks it is usually by far Armani.
