RE: Older 'n Dirt!!

I get the older than dirt grade too. Nice. And I was out of the country in the 1960's and early 1970's. The old phone number was Kilmer9-xxx. I remember milk boxes and having milk delivered as a very little kid, but don't recall cardboard as the stopper, more like a waxed cardboard cap. Jim

Cool thing is, the V8-6-4 is back everywhere now.

And with modern engine-management software, it even works like it's supposed to.

I wish MBs had it, or hybrid, or CVT, er...
At this rate I'm going to talk myself into another Japanese car.. [:0]

My Mother-In-Law lives in northern New Foundland. They still call anything motorized "machines". My truck, snowmobiles, ATV's...all machines.

Even more oddly ours worked great with no problems! So did our neighbors! Kept the car seven years and put over 70k miles on it. Neighbors kept theirs 13 years and put 136k on it with no problem! Did not not want to trade for another new cadillac as the engine was too small (HT4100) for the car up until the downsized runt appeared in '85 (0 to 60mph in sixteen seconds! Egads!). Then wouldn't buy the runt because it was too small and too ugly. Can you say mercedes? Cadillac lost the majority of it's customers during these years and rightly so.

The only thing I recognized was the wax Coke bottles with the sugar syrup and the candy cigarettes. I loved those things---especially the ones with the powder that 'smoked'. Imagine putting those in your kid's stocking now!
Right...

Tell me you don't remember 'Party lines'...

I do remember those, but not too fondly. I've never been a speed girl, although I would've tried anything once a few years back. MJ is my DOC. The music sounds better. My cooking tastes.....edible. Damn. Now I gotta roll one.[:p]

RE: Older 'n Dirt!!

sing the praises, silstah.

amen!

AMEN!

i had a nasty run-in with the law over 1/2 a sheet of LSD. that hard stuff is for the young and foolish.

i still dont know why i cant grow my own stash in my garden. we grow our own tomatos and cows, i honestly dont know how it'd be different. it'd put less people at the mercy of questionable folks to say the least.
