Don't be swayed by peer pressure AsianML! Fake trees do not burst into flames when you accidentally knock a candle into it whilst in a drunken stupor.

RE: Christmas Trees

We have 6+ artificial trees. One 10' fake one that is the really big one in the great-room, 3 authentic aluminum trees out of the 50's with color wheels and rotating stands and such in the kitchen, bath, and den, a 60's scotch pine that was my parents back in the day in the spare-room, a gold pre-lit 5' deco tree in the foyer, and a few table-top sized ones in various other places. There is garland and snowglobes, nutcrackers and Christmas stuff everywhere, wreaths out the ass, the outside is lit up like Vegas with the old fashion C9's. It is very gay around here in more ways than one [:)]

RE: Christmas Trees

Are we supposed to post about Christmas, it is about religion and some people can get offended here...

Some of the schools here are banning children from gretting Merry Christmas.. they are just allowed to say Happy Holiday.. Weird world

Thanks, D.

RE: Christmas Trees

Always had giant real trees through my childhood. I remember my folks nearly slitting each others throats arguing over setting it up. The people next door had a huge 30ft tree made out of shiney aluminum with a rotating wheel below it that projected all the colors of the spectrum onto it. So hideously garish that it was cool.

RE: Christmas Trees

I've got a couple of fibre optic ones which flash. No nead to mess around with fairy lights, just put it up and throw on a few decorations. Might get some tinsel though this year.[:)]
