Esteban and his piece of crap plywood guitar.
OH YA!! You know his name is something like Steve Lipshitz and he's from Flushing. Esteban, lol.
Can you imagine the buzzy frets and dead resonance of that cinder block he calls a guitar?

But he's got a cape!

Here's his bio:

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/issue...s/feature.html

"He's Stephen Paul, the blue-collar gringo kid from Pittsburgh with hippie affectations."

Here are some reviews of his guitars:

http://www.harmony-central.com/Guita...coustic-1.html
Holy Moly, 8 pages dedicated to this hack! I can almost take the leather sombrero, Roy Orbison glasses, and Ambiguously Gay Duo cape but the fact that he is defrauding people by slapping his dubious-at-best name on those shoddy cardboard guitars with meltaway finish pisses me off. Go to Guitar Center people if you wanna save money on an entry level axe, jeez!

The worst is anything with Billy Mays in it.
If I had a button that would slit his throat,
I'd set up an 'automatic pushing device'.

Someone who really gives me the creeps
is that John Basedow, with his Fitness Made Simple.
It's spooky how he stands there with his hunchback,
obsessing over his abs.
Now he has taken to bleaching his hair white in front.
CREEEEPPPYYYYYY!

RE: your favorite infomercial?

i saw another that i absolutely cackled whenever i watched!

it was some past middle-aged woman selling a fitness system like everyone else. she has long straight blond hair and looks like she and joan rivers use the same 'face cream.'

the best part:

as she is encouraging other middle-aged women to buy her crappy stick with rubber bands she says:

"now i'm not saying itll make you look 25 when youre 50....but..."

its so fucking fabulous, i almost wet myself.

This signature removed to protect the innocent.

Again, TK rules. [:D][:D]

My favorite infomercial would have to be the spoofed one for "The Milkmaster 2000". That was hilarious.

RE: your favorite infomercial?

The old soloflex infomercial. It was done like a 30 minute story, involving athletes from a variety of sports (skiing, motocross, etc.). I'm partially biased b/c a friend produced it and won a few awards. But none the less, it was very cutting edge at the time compared to Ronco.
